Our team of dedicated health professionals are here to serve you. We combine extensive knowledge in the field of chiropractic with a passion for helping people.  At Durant Chiropractic, it is our mission to help our patients achieve optimal spinal and neurological function. It is our goal to create a friendly and professional atmosphere that you can rely on for all of your chiropractic needs.

Dr. Lisa L. Geurink is a Board-Certified Chiropractic Physician and holds a Diplomate in Acupuncture.  A Durant native, she has enjoyed living and working in this community for most of her life.  She graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1986.  After attending Palmer, she completed advanced studies in Cox Lumbar Decompression, Sports Chiropractic, and Chiropractic Biophysics.  Dr. Geurink earned her Diplomate in Acupuncture in 2010 from the American Chiropractic Association’s Council on Chiropractic Acupuncture.

Dr. Geurink is passionate about Chiropractic and therefore welcomes the opportunity to care for people in a holistic manner without the use of drugs or surgery.  She is an active member of the Iowa Chiropractic Society, American Chiropractic Association, American Board of Chiropractic Acupuncturists, and the Chiropractic Council on Acupuncture.  When she’s not at her practice, Dr. Geurink enjoys traveling, relaxing with her children and grandchild, and spending time with her husband, Russ, on their farm.

Dr. Melissa Kelling is a Durant native. She is a 2012 Palmer College of Chiropractic graduate. Returning to Durant to practice was ideal for her in order to give back to the community in which she grew up. The methods she studied led her to develop a strong desire to develop a family practice. The adjusting styles she uses in treating patients are gentle and, above all, keep the patient’s comfort a priority. Dr. Kelling is a member of the Iowa Chiropractic Society. She is a former certified yoga instructor. When she’s not treating patients, her hobbies include spending time with her husband & son, practicing yoga, and gardening.

Kayla has been our Licensed Massage Therapist on staff since May 2014. She attended & graduated from Capri College in Davenport. Kayla’s knowledge, skills, and desire to help people make her the perfect fit for our office. Our ability to perform therapeutic massage right in our office allows patients to easily fit both their massages and adjustments into their busy schedules. Kayla resides in Wilton with her husband. When she’s not working, she enjoys raising & showing dairy cattle.

Darla has been our Front Desk & Insurance Department extraordinaire since August 2009. She attended Hamilton Technical College where she obtained her degree in Billing & Coding. When she’s not managing the front desk in our office & processing insurance, she enjoys spending her time reading, going to garage sales, spoiling her grandchildren.

Carissa has been a Chiropractic Technician in our office since May 2017. She has been a patient of chiropractic since the age of five.  She therefore is a strong believer and advocate of the many benefits of chiropractic adjustments & the therapies we provide in our office. Being a Durant native, Carissa loves being able to work in the community in which she grew up. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, writing, and spending time with her husband & daughter.

Erin has been with our office since March 2018. She is currently a junior in college at St. Ambrose University. Erin enjoys helping patients who want to improve their health. She also enjoys working in a welcoming environment. While away from work, Erin loves to swim, spend time with her family, & travel.

Cathy is a Licensed Massage Therapist and has been in our office since October 2019. She has a strong background in medical training, having received her Certified Medical Assisting diploma in 1999 & her Associates Degree in Nursing in 2009.
