Back on Trac and Cervi-Trac

The newest addition to Durant Chiropractic

We’d like to introduce our Back on Trac & Cervi-Trac spinal traction therapy table.  The Back on Trac (BOT) and Cervi-Trac is a “powerful non-invasive spinal traction system that offers a unique and highly effective treatment option for back & neck pain patients.”  The BOT system gently stretches your spine to relieve pressure on spinal discs and nerves, increase mobility, and reduce pain.  This can be perfect for patients with chronic back pain, herniated discs, sciatica, spinal stenosis, scoliosis, facet syndrome and general muscle tension. It’s a very gentle therapy that most patients find to be a relaxing stretch. We can also include massaging vibration and/or heat to your therapy protocol. Some patients even fall asleep during their session!

The Cervi-Trac attachment is a fantastic addition to the BOT table.  Some conditions that respond very well to the Cervi-Trac are cervical disc herniations, degenerative disc disease, and anterior head carriage aka Text Neck.  It can also help decrease mechanical neck pain and stiffness along with decreasing muscle spasms.

Other Benefits

Multiple studies have demonstrated that spinal decompression can reduce intradiscal pressure, improve blood flow to the affected areas, and facilitate natural healing.

Some patients may feel immediate relief after the first session, while others notice improvement after 3-6 sessions, with significant relief by the end of their prescribed treatment plan.

This spinal decompression therapy works well alongside chiropractic care, physical therapy, and massage therapy.

Spinal decompression is safe for most patients but may not be suitable for individuals with certain conditions like severe osteoporosis or spinal fusion. We’ll evaluate your medical history to ensure it’s right for you before starting.

We can’t wait to utilize this decompression table to help our patients achieve maximum pain relief, improved mobility, and back to feeling their best!
